EP Rinkside 2021-22 Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 9-ranked Florida Panthers

Prospect Pool Rankings
As the Florida Panthers' on-ice fortunes have taken a turn for the better, their prospect pool has paradoxically followed a similar trajectory. That they've enjoyed this sort of success in two departments that usually share an inverse relationship is a testament to their scouts' mettle.

This group has consistently punched above their weight class, finding a way to unearth players with legitimate top-of-the-lineup potential without needing a top-10 pick to do it. Better still, in Anton Lundell and Spencer Knight, their two most promising prospects play arguably the sport's two most important positions.

The Panthers operate with an internal cap, and the need for cost-controlled reinforcements is a constant in that framework. With depth in every part of their pool, they're well-positioned to withstand the turnover that this sort of operating structure demands.

With that, let's look at some of the players they have chomping at the bit, ready to join their ranks in the coming seasons.
