What We Learned: So who's gonna score for Utah?

There can be no doubt that the team that made the biggest splash of the offseason was the as yet unnamed Utah team.

They traded for Mikhail Sergachev, who's coming off a year marred by injury and play that was subpar by his own standards (perhaps understandable because of sed injury). Then they traded for John Marino as something of a reclamation project. In doing so, they totally reshuffled their defensive depth chart, though it must be said Sergachev came at the cost of cutting bait on prospect Conor Geekie and JJ Moser, who had been competent for them at 5-on-5 the last two seasons, and of course "competency" wasn't traditionally associated with much at all the franchise did before being moved to Utah.
