There was a time when points weren’t easy to come by for Stanislav Svozil

Svozil had 12 points in 57 games across all levels in his draft season, predominantly playing professionally as a second-year player in Czechia's top league. 

Now he's an offensive force. 

The Blue Jackets' third-rounder opened the World Juniors with a goal and a highlight-reel assist against Canada, showcasing the same offensive skills that earned him 37 points in just 28 games with the Regina Pats. 

In the blink of an eye, Svozil leaps from the point and sets up a teammate, often beating a defender or two in the process. That’s a sharp contrast from his draft year, where his defence and transition skills overshadowed the infrequent offensive flashes.
