Meet the Team: An early look at what Russia might look like at the 2022 World Juniors

Russia is going to have to do a lot this year to make amends for their poor performance at last year's IIHF World Junior Championships.

The expected returnees who are playing in Russia all received an invite to camp. This includes players like Yaroslav Askarov, Marat KhustnutdinovShakir MukhamadullinKirill Kirsanov and Vasili Ponomaryov.

Daniil Chayka and Yan Kuznetsov, who currently play in North America, were left off the preliminary list, but are very likely going to be joining the team when they travel across the pond.
