EP Rinkside Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 27 Ranked Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins aren’t considered the shining, golden standard of the NHL Entry Draft — they’ve made too many reaches with early-round picks the last handful of years to be considered anything close to the league’s most effective drafters.

They’re currently in the midst of their cup window. That means their last foray in the top ten was a pair of picks they snagged from the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Phil Kessel trade back in 2009. Tyler Seguin was the No. 2 overall pick in 2010 and Dougie Hamilton went their way at No. 9 overall in 2011. Since then, Boston hasn’t selected any higher than 13th.
