EP Rinkside 2024 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 14-ranked Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars’ pool lacks depth, but fittingly, it hosts many of the league’s top star prospects. Quantity is good; quality is great. We value it significantly more in this exercise, and that's why Dallas ranks 14th overall.

Logan Stankoven and Mavrik Bourque headline the pool. Stankoven finished at 14th overall in our leaguewide, top-100 ranking, and Bourque at 44th. And there’s also Lian Bichsel, the 6-foot-6 Swiss defenceman drafted 18th overall in 2022. He featured a few spots behind at 58th overall. 

These three prospects should earn a role in the team’s lineup in short order. Stankoven is all but assured of one next season. Bourque is knocking on the door, and Bichsel has the assets to make a quick transition, too. {
