EP Rinkside 2021-22 Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 4-ranked Anaheim Ducks

Prospect Pool Rankings
The Anaheim Ducks are finally rebuilding in earnest, and the strength of their prospect pool reflects their shifting priorities. There is short-term pain on the horizon, but the future couldn't possibly be any more promising.

There's a little bit of everything on the way in Southern California. They're rich at each of the three premium positions, with legitimate top-of-the-lineup talents down the middle, on the blue line, and in goal. That's a hell of a foundation. And with credible depth prospects in the wings, they're set up to see this project through.

Perhaps the most promising aspect of the Ducks' ranking is that the admittedly narrow scope (we only rate Calder Trophy-eligible players as prospects for the purpose of this exercise) of this series might somehow sell their system short. One-time blue-chip prospects like Maxime ComtoisMax Jones, and Sam Steel have all graduated in recent years.

Let's look at the players who will join them in the Ducks lineup in the coming years.
