There wasn't any great mystery to college hockey coaches about what they were going to get when they had the Boston University Terriers on the schedule.

This was a team with a number of potent weapons, elite college hockey players. But the hydrogen bomb at the centre of that arsenal was a 17-year-old long projected to be the top pick in his draft class.

"You don't want to change your whole game and get out of the way you want to play, but you have to be aware when a player like that is out there," Boston College coach Greg Brown told EP Rinkside.

Macklin Celebrini was the youngest player in college hockey this past season, and finished second in points per game, second in goals, third in shots, and third in total points. For that, he was given the Hobey Baker Award as the nation's most outsta
