SUNRISE, Florida – At least one major trophy was claimed on Tuesday.
While the Stanley Cup itself is still very much up for grabs, with the series shifting back to Edmonton for Game 6, Oilers captain Connor McDavid is going to win the Conn Smythe as NHL playoff MVP.

McDavid has 42 points in the playoffs, and in the past two games, with his team down 3-0 in the series, the Oilers captain posted back-to-back four-point nights.
