Where do the Arizona Coyotes go from here?

This isn’t a story about the arena situation. 

That feels like an important disclaimer, when penning the headline “Where do the Arizona Coyotes go from here?”

The Coyotes aren't leaving Arizona, between Gary Bettman’s commitment to the market, the league television deals, and some of the players involved in getting something done in Tempe, it’s more of a question of “how” rather than “will” the Coyotes stay in Arizona. 

And that’s a good thing, truthfully. Hockey’s growth in the sunbelt is important, it’s great to see a Division I program at Arizona State and it’s great that one of the NHL’s best players came from the state. 

But, the product on the ice is rough to watch right now, and barring a draft lottery win, there is still a long way to go before Arizona hockey can look anything like pla
