Where do the New York Rangers go from here?

If you liked the look of the Rangers for much of this year, I have great news for you.

They only have a few roster spots to fill and about $10 million in cap space with which to do it.

But it's a little trickier than things might seem at first blush, because while pretty much every major player is slated to come back — apart from rentals Vladimir Tarasenko and Patrick Kane — those players probably need to be replaced, and there are a couple of critical restricted free agents that need new contracts.

Those RFAs are Alexis Lafrenière, whose play to this point has been overhyped in New York but will still command a nice-sized raise, and K'Andre Miller, who will be looking for a much bigger payday. Neither should cost enough to break or really even bend the Rangers' budget, of course, and they ha
