What we Learned: Tip your cap to this Tampa Bay Lightning team while you still can

No matter what happens tonight, this is the kind of thing we should maybe try to enjoy while it lasts.

This Tampa Bay Lightning team is on the verge of winning its second straight Stanley Cup, getting this deep into the playoffs for the third time in seven seasons. That 2014-15 Tampa team featured many of the same players still contributing to their second Cup in as many seasons: Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov, Ondřej Palát, Victor Hedman, Tyler Johnson, and Andrei Vasilevsky (in a backup role at the time).

But all those guys now, they're six years older than they were in 2015. It's hard to believe that all but one of the guys on the Triplets line is 30-plus but here we are. It's hard to believe Hedman has been in the league since 2009, but he has. Stamkos is 31.
