Taking Stock: A look at the Boston Bruins prospect trade chips ahead of 2024 deadline
The Boston Bruins have done it again. Just as everyone was ready to write them off, they've authored another season spent almost entirely at or near the top of the NHL standings. This, despite losing their two best centres, a future first-ballot hall of famer among them.
Still, on paper, I don't know that this is a team that strikes the fear of god in many of their potential first-round opponents. Last year's depth players have stepped up admirably into lead roles, but how will they stand up to the war of attrition that is the Stanley Cup playoffs? Do they still have the team speed necessary to compete in that environment?
