Filipovic's Fun Facts: Two Standout Defencemen

We're using 'Filipovic's Fun Facts' as a launching pad for taking a closer look at a variety of topics that have recently caught my attention. We'll use it to highlight stats, trends, or performances that warrant further investigation. 

The subjects will usually be at least somewhat loosely related thematically, but sometimes it may just be an eclectic grab bag of topics that have nothing in common really beyond being interesting or notable in some way.
