I know we're about to go through a few months without any at all – not even a fake World Juniors to get excited about – but these past few days have been tough. I watched "The Game" last night. It's good but it's maybe like a C-tier David Fincher movie, not even top-seven probably, and that's just the kind of thing you watch when you just don't have a better option right in front of you. What was I gonna do instead, watch Nikola Jokic annihilate the Heat?

But if the break for hockey has me watching Michael Douglas vehicles, you know I'm starved for some playoff hockey. And now it's still something like 30 hours away. I might die before then.
