Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk out with a fractured fibula
Boston Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk has a fractured fibula and will be out for a considerable time.
Frank Seravelli from Daily Faceoff reported the news on Wednesday afternoon.
No shock given that he didn't accompany #NHLBruins out west, but I'm told Jake DeBrusk has a fractured fibula that will keep him out.

Tough blow for DeBrusk, playing the best hockey of his career.@DailyFaceoff
DeBrusk has 30 points (16 goals, 14 assists) in 36 game for the Bruins this season and was in the midst of the best offensive play of his career. He was the catalyst in a Winter Classic victory, but also left that game with a walking boot and didn't travel with the Bruins for their west coast road trip.
DeBrusk makes $4 million against the salary cap this season and next. His injury, depending on the length, could put the Bruins in the market for another top-six winger before the trade deadline.
