Tuomas Uronen could be sixth round gold for the Vegas Golden Knights

Tuomas Uronen is a Vegas Golden Knights prospect, taken 192nd overall in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Draft.

That's a full 112 spots behind his final spot in the Elite Prospects 2023 NHL Draft Guide and far behind where most other outlets placed him, too. It's a draft day slide that struck me as a bit peculiar.

Having seen him play live more than a few times and on video – I don’t get it. I think Or not. We'll see.

“Yeah. I thought I would be picked a little bit earlier. But it doesn’t matter at all at the moment. It’s nice to be drafted,” Uronen told Elite Prospects.

There’s always a story about how players find out when they were drafted if they weren’t in attendance. His was a little boring. I think it’s very relatable because not everybody can bring their entire family with them to the
