Not every prospect makes the NHL, even top prospects.
There are myriad of reasons. Lack of development, failing to fit a certain coaching staff's vision, or simply the role they were drafted for being filled by someone else.
In last year’s edition of this article, we featured five prospects top prospects who struggled to crack to the NHL. For most, they remain candidates for this year’s edition, too.
