The jump from Europe to the CHL isn’t an easy one, even from players with lengthy pro resumes. 

It’s not just the narrower rink, but a different set of tactics, a different pace of play, and, of course, the array of off-puck adjustments that come from moving to a new continent. 

For Dalibor Dvorský, that adjustment has looked easy. 

The St. Louis Blues’ first-rounder already has 34 points in 20 games, bolstered by 17 goals over his last 17 contests. He’s formed a dominant trio with San Jose Sharks first-rounder Quentin Musty and Seattle Kraken prospect David Goyette.

The skills that enabled Dvorský’s rapid ascension into professional hockey (he played in Slovakia’s top league at the age of 15) have instantly given him a separating ability in the OHL: Physical skills.
