Film Room: How Brad Lambert's time in the WHL improved his stock with the Winnipeg Jets

NHL Prospects

Two seasons ago, Brad Lambert displayed unmatched skating, a dynamic rushing game, and delivered standout performances against men in Liiga, making him one of the most exciting prospects in the sport.

However, his game subsequently stagnated, causing a decline in his stock. He went from being a potential No. 1 selection to being selected at No. 30 by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Following an underwhelming performance at the World Juniors and an uneventful stint in the AHL, this season did not appear to offer much improvement for Lambert.

However, when he made the leap to the Western Hockey League and joined the powerhouse Seattle Thunderbirds, he quickly became their top center. Throughout the regular season and playoffs, he maintained an impressive average of 1.5 points per game.
