What happened to Daniil Chayka?

While he may not slip out of the first round of the 2021 NHL Draft, Chayka has been a hot-button topic here at Elite Prospects. The promise of a legitimate top-four defenseman at the professional level was there in his time in Guelph, but he failed to progress in his loan to CSKA for the 2020-21 season and found himself regressing to a nearly unrecognizable shell of his former self.
