For four of college hockey’s most visible programs, when the calendar flips to February, it means one thing in particular: the Beanpot is up for grabs.

College hockey’s in-season tournaments each offer different things, but none are more steeped in history and prestige than the Beanpot Tournament. Boston College, Boston University, Harvard and Northeastern consistently churn out some of the best players from the college ranks, many of whom stamp a legacy on the all-Boston competition first. Among the Beanpot MVPs of the past decade are Kevin Hayes, Johnny Gaudreau and Chris Kreider.
