BOSTON — It takes a lot to replace a Hobey Baker winner.

It takes a lot to replace arguably the best defenceman in the country.

Boston University had to do both this summer, with both Macklin Celebrini and Lane Hutson making the jump straight from college hockey to the NHL. They were, unsurprisingly, the Terriers' top two scorers last season, combining to score 47 goals last season. In fact, one or both of them had a point on 84, and were on the ice but did not register a point on another 15, of BU's total 163.
