Memorial Cup 3 Stars: O'Reilly and Dickinson lead London past Moose Jaw

SAGINAW, Michigan – The London Knights are on a mission this season. 

Now they’re one win away from clinching a spot in the Memorial Cup championship game after defeating the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-4. 

It didn’t start well for London, though. Moose Jaw came out hard at the start of the game, pushed pace, wore down the Knights’ defensive zone coverage and were rewarded with a goal from captain Denton Mateychuk

It didn’t take long for them to right the ship, though. Goals from Ruslan Gazizov and Sam Dickinson gave the Knights a 2-1 lead heading into the second period, and they continued to build on their lead for the rest of the game. The Warriors pushed in the final minutes, but they failed to find the equalizer.
