Prospect Prospective: Mavrik Bourque's considerable upside

Welcome back to another edition of Prospect Prosepctive. In this series, we’ll be looking at a prospect who has yet to establish himself in the NHL. We’ll examine the reasons for this and what fantasy upside remains. Today’s focus is Mavrik Bourque who was drafted 30th overall by the Dallas Stars in 2020.

The EP Rinkside staff ranked Bourque 13th in 2020 so seeing him slide to 30th was a bit of a surprise. Being a little on the smaller side at 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds likely didn’t help his case to go higher.
