A wave of top-flight NCAA talent is on its way to the AHL. The annual spring-time migration of high-end NCAA players into the AHL for their first taste of pro hockey has started.
Montréal Canadiens 2019 first-round pick Cole Caufield started the parade last weekend, leaving the University of Wisconsin after two seasons to turn pro.
