Ontario Reign rookie head coach John Wroblewski stressed early and often that his youth-laden team would suffer growing pains.

But Wroblewski, hired by the parent Los Angeles Kings out of the prestigious US National Team Development Program last summer to guide their deep base of prospects in the AHL, also emphasized that this patience would pay off eventually.
