Standout performances from the U18 5 Nations in Plymouth
The most recent U18 Five Nations tournament in Plymouth, Michigan was set to be yet another victory for the Americans.
Not only did the USA have a clear home-ice advantage – their foremost challengers were almost all without many of their top players. Most notably, Finland – who placed second in November's tournament – was missing many of their top names as they continued to play in Liiga instead.
However, it was Sweden that emerged victorious, sealing the tournament with a last-second goal in the final game against the Americans. Let's take a deeper dive into players who made an impression throughout the tournament.
