Elite Prospects' pre-U18 2024 NHL Mock Draft

The scouting season is almost over. Many prospects playing in European leagues have already seen their campaigns come to a close, and the CHL playoffs are in full swing. Not far off in the distance is the U18 World Hockey Championship, set to take place in Finland only a few short weeks from now.

We marked the occasion with the release of the third Elite Prospects 2024 NHL Draft Ranking last week, a 96-player-long board, complete with honourable mentions. Today, we're going to find an NHL home for many of those prospects.

I've set the order for this mock draft with but a single spin on Tankathon, and the results sure were interesting. There are going to be a lot of happy NHL fans, but perhaps none more so than those of the Calgary Flames.
