Buyer Beware: Players to avoid at the 2020-21 trade deadline

Smart teams can make out like bandits at the trade deadline, pilfering the dregs of the league to bolster the margins on their roster without suffering a bidding war.

Rental deals almost always represent fraught gambles, and minimizing the assets one surrenders for a player who might ultimately play very few games in your uniform is critical. Having first looked at the players I thought would make smart targets based on their statistical profiles, skillsets, and market value, the time has come to play Debbie Downer and run through the players on the opposite end of that spectrum.
